GMR Garnet™

 

 

GMR Garnet™ is quality re-processed garnet from used garnet that meets all industry and international standards.

The superior natural abrasive can be recycled up to 5 times without compromising on its reliable and quality performance. This also provides companies a cost-effective and environmentally responsible option to dispose used garnet.

Strategic state-of-the-art recycling facilities are located in the Middle East in Jubail, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, Aulla in Italy as well as the newest and also largest facility in New Orleans, USA.

At the recycling facility, used garnet is blended with materials from different sources and processed through the recycling system. Upon drying the material, it is screened and then fed through a magnetic separator to be fully processed and graded. Checks on size and purity are performed using the highest quality controls and strict sampling. The various grades of green GMR Garnet abrasives that are ready to be distributed for immediate re-use will be resold throughout the world.

The grain size distribution of GMR 80 mesh is generally finer compared to the standard GMA 80 Mesh specification. However, being a recycled product, it contains mainly crushed grains with sharp cutting edges.

This makes GMR Garnet 80 mesh a fast cutting waterjet abrasive with high quality cutting edge – at a very economical cutting cost.
